John Federico , IconNicholson; (former Sr. Director, Podcasting at Audible.com)

Prior to IconNicholson, John was the Senior Director, Podcasting at Audible, Inc. John's experience as a marketer has focused on developing new media businesses for companies like Advance Internet, NJ.com, NetCreations (now ReturnPath), MarketSource (now Youth360), and MaMaMedia.

In addition to his role at IconNicholson, John is the host and executive producer of On Digital Media a podcast about the technology, creation, distribution, consumption and monetization of digital media and its effects on traditional media and marketing. (http://www.odmcast.com)

Ask John what he likes most about technology and he'll say, "All of it". As a self-described and self-taught gadget geek, John has being playing with computers and other information technologies since he got his first part-time job to pay for a Timex Sinclair ZX-81. (So he could learn how to program games, of course.)

Currently, his favorite gadget is his BlackBerry 8830 World Phone. He covets a Sony Reader. And a Chumby. John holds a dual-track degree in Marketing Communications & Broadcast Production from Marist College.
