Eileen Sharaga, is President of Career Resources and a recognized authority on career development and employment trends. As a career consultant, counselor and educator, Ms. Sharaga works with individuals, businesses, college students and organizations in all aspects of career planning and career management.
Eileen’s work is an outgrowth of her own life since she has had 6 careers spanning the fields of advertising, marketing, telecommunications, executive recruiting, publishing and academia. Having both a psychological and business background, she provides a unique perspective to navigating today’s complex career issues. She brings over 15 years to the task of helping people choose, change and advance their careers. Ms. Sharaga has been an adjunct professor and on the faculty of: Parson’s School of Design, Long Island University, The CUNY Research Foundation, Marymount College, Baruch College, La Guardia Community College and American Women in Economic Development. Recognized as an expert on career and workplace issues, she has delivered over 200 lectures and workshops to corporations, professional associations, alumni associations and civic groups. These include: Harvard, Yale and Princeton University, Association of Management Consultants, IBM, American Marketing Association, Greater New York Hospital Association, Society of Engineers, Advertising Club of N.Y., Society for Marketing Professionals, Woman in Communication, Security and Exchange Commission, N.Y.C. Board of Education and many more. Writing extensively on career management issues, she has written bi-lined articles featured in Marketing Review, Chemical Engineering News, Women’s Business and quoted in the Wall St. Journal, The NY Post and The N.Y. Times. Most recently, she has appeared on Fox Five News and guest career expert on Sirius Radio. Ms. Sharaga is currently engaged in gathering research for her book entitled “The New Career Frontier.” (2009)
