Bio
Mr. Coulter has worked primarily in episodic television, directing for numerous series, including THE SOPRANOS, SEX & THE CITY, SIX FEET UNDER and ROME.
He has also directed several pilots for television, including KINGPIN, NURSE JACKIE, SONS OF ANARCHY, and RUBICON. His pilot for DAMAGES earned him his fifth Emmy nomination.
His first feature film, HOLLYWOODLAND, starring Adrien Brody, Diane Lane and Ben Affleck, opened in September 2006. His latest film, REMEMBER ME, starred Robert Patterson and was released by Summit Entertainment in March of 2010.
Most recently, Mr. Coulter directed for HBO’s critically acclaimed BOARDWALK EMPIRE. His episode, "Paris Green", earned him his third DGA nomination. In addition, he has just wrapped two episodes of HBO's new series from Michael Mann and David Milch, entitled LUCK, starring Dustin Hoffman and Nick Nolte.
