Bio

An Arizona native, Mangin started his musical assault at student run radio station, KAMP in Tucson. After attending UT's College of Pharmacy, he decided against pushing pills and instead returned to radio as AMD/DJ at WMFS (Memphis), earning Album Network's "Metal Director of the Year" in 1999. TVT Records moved Mangin to NYC as National Director of College and Metal Radio Promotions pimping acts like Sevendust, Guided By Voices and Nothingface to the masses. Mangin then landed a gig at the country's first satellite radio provider, Sirius Satellite Radio. For almost three years, he's been programming Alternativa _ (Latin Alternative), co-programming and DJ'ing Hard Attack (Metal) and producing a rock/rap specialty show on the weekends on Hip Hop Nation (Rap) called 'Pass the Jointz!'  Currently Mangin is developing a new channel featuring international hip-hop and is traveling the country promoting Sirius at various Rhythm of the Road events.
