The New Yorker
Amy Davidson has been at The New Yorker since 1995, and as an editor has concentrated on national security and foreign affairs. She writes the Close Read blog for the magazine's website, and has contributed to its pages. Davidson grew up in New York City and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, with a degree in social studies. Before joining The New Yorker she lived and worked in Germany. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
