Bio

Jessica Kleiman is currently VP, public relations for Hearst Magazines, one of the world’s largest publishers of monthly magazines, and co-author of Be Your Own Best Publicist: How to Use PR Techniques to Get Noticed, Hired and Rewarded at Work (Career Press, 2011). Previously, she was director of PR for The Knot, Inc. (now XO Group), the largest wedding media company. Kleiman has guest lectured about publicity at NYU, University of Michigan and Columbia University and has written for various newspapers, Web sites and magazines. In 2011, she was nominated as PR News’ “Publicist of the Year”. Kleiman graduated from University of Michigan with a BA in Communication.
