Sydney Pollack looks back at his amazing career as the quintessential filmmaker having produced and/or directed more than 50 movies we all love. Many were shot in the Big Apple, among them: Three Days of the Condor; The Way We Were; Tootsie; Searching for Bobby Fisher; Bright Lights, Big City and The Interpreter. Acting credits for NY films include Tootsie and Husbands and Wives.  Pollack has received 46 Academy Award nominations and took home two for Out of Africa. His most recent work, Sketches of Frank Gehry, came out this year.
